What do you think about this order?

1) SSR2.5 w/ Orange
2) SSR1 w/ White
3) SSR1 w/ Gray
4) Duragloss 601 w/ hand buffing
5) Duragloss 105 w/ hand buffing
6) Duragloss AW w/ hand buffing

Do these steps look fine?

Is the SSR1 w/ Gray necessary?

Re: What do you think about this order?

What machine are you using? PC,PC XP, etc.

It sounds like you think you have swirled paint judging by product/pad selection.

It would probably be better to do a test spot using SSR1 with white first just to test the paint then move to SSR2.5 with white.

I get the general idea of what your doing and it looks good. The SSR products are good. I dont think you would need to do SSR1 with grey. Grey is good for glazes / sealants.

Maybe something like

1)Wash
2)Dry
3)Clay
4) SSR1 / White if too weak, go to SSR 2.5 white then to orange.
5) 601 via grey pad
6) 105 by hand, let cure in shade for 24hr
5) Buff off
6) Aquawax

Re: What do you think about this order?

Does sealant need to be "buffed" into the paint? The Wolf Gang vid on Youtube has a guy hand applying the sealant w/ a wax applicator pad, w/ little to no pressure.

I'm trying to save a couple bucks and was thinking I could do without the gray pads. What do you guys think?

I'm using a PC, btw.

You dont really buff a sealant into the paint. Just use he grey pad to apply an even, light coat. Let it sure for 24 hours then buff off.
