Re: Compound and AIO for a budget 2 step polish?

I would consider the PB World Polish #2 and the PB World Polish with Sealant.

I recently used the Wolfgang Total Swirl remover with an LC flat orange pad and finished with PB polish with sealant on an LC flat white pad and the vehicle came out great.

Now the WG stuff is very good, but not budget friendly. I used it because I had some left over from a a purchase in 2009. Going forward, I will be giving the PB polish #2 a go as it is a good bit less expensive and should give similar performance to the WGTSR based on the Polish Comparison Chart.

    Good luck.

Wow! Good combination suggestions in this thread, but I am partial to Firehouse Mike and Bob's comments.

    Mike@landrover,
I'd be interested in hearing more via pm about the 'other' products you use as 1-steps.

We do it commonly with M100 and D151 (PRC). I was impressed with HD Speed at Detail Fest, so I suspect it would do well for you. Try it and let us know.

While D151 is great for a one step option, a better response would have been M105 and then following up with D151. This would have fit the bill.

Add a layer of M26 or some D156 as a second step. All I'm saying is D151 with a MF pad (5" on GG6 in pic) works awesome with no DA haze.

HD adapt followed by HD speed. Nuff said.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

I ended up using HD Cut on a Meguiars MF cutting disc followed by HD Speed on a Rubes yellow pad. I will start to play with other combo's but i think this will be my go to from now on.
