    opti-seal applicators

hi all just wondering if anyone uses a microfiber applicator pad as opposed to the yellow foam ones. i have a couple of the ultima microfiber pads i could use.
i know it may seam like a dumb question but i really dont like the yellow foam with sealeants.you how we get a little goofy with detailing stuff.

That's actually a really good question. I really like those MF applicators and feel they really can spread a product super thin. Perhaps Chris can chime in here.

that would be nice if he would,to me even after claying the foam pad feels a little rough and dry like i need to put more on and it streaks on me-didnt know if its best to wait the 20 minutes then buff down streaks or hit it as soon as i notice to much product

What timing! I was wondering the same thing this morning. I have Wolgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0, Finishing Glaze 3.0 and paint sealant on it's way and was wondering what was going to be the best way to apply the paint sealant and what applicator to use. I agree with you John on the foam applicators. Maybe I'm too old school but they just don't feel right when using them. They seem to feel like they stick unless they are soaked with product. Then you have too much.

They work fine, but will absorb more product.

Yup! with a microfiber applicator, you apply streak free the first time and dont have to go over with a microfiber to even out streaks, as is the case, when you apply with a yellow foam applicator!

+ I find foam applicators to be notorious in slipping from hand and landing on the ground!!
