    Ultimate Guide for Diamondite Kits!

Several of you asked for some clarification about the products from Diamondite. Dwayne and I teamed up and put together a quick summary of each Diamondite kit. One thing I learned is that Diamondite is a carefully thought out system. Each Diamondite product compliments each other and we’ve made it easier by putting them in kits to take out the guess work.

Diamondite Clear Plastic System Kit for Plastic Headlight Lenses (DIA-1000)

*See DIA-100012 for larger, 12oz bottles of each product*

This kit is the ultimate solution to restoring dull, clouded, hazed over plastic headlight lenses whether used by a professional detailer or the average Joe in his garage.

Step-1: Clear Plastic Enhancer: Polish used to remove fine scratches and haze from clouded plastic headlight lenses. Use the Clear Plastic Enhancer with the provided yellow cutting pad. Work at a speed of 1800 RPM on your drill or rotary polisher. There is no need to apply pressure. Use microfiber towel to buff off any remaining residue after the polish has broken down to a clear film. You can also use a DA Polisher with the optional DA Adapter to speed things up a little.

Step-2: Clear Plastic Restorer: Very fine finishing glaze that restores the shine and clarity to polished headlight lens covers. Use the Clear Plastic Restorer with the provided orange light cutting pad at a speed of 1800 RPM on your drill or rotary polisher. Once the polish begins to dry, simply buff off any remaining residue with a dry microfiber towel. Like the Clear Plastic Enhancer, you can speed things up a little by using a DA polisher with the optional DA Adapter.

Step-3: Clear Plastic Liquid Armor: Protects the newly restored headlight lenses from oxidation and UV damage with durable polymers. Essentially all you have to do is spray on, and buff off. It's that simple!

Diamondite Clear Vinyl System Kit for Hand Application (DIA-2100)

The perfect kit to clean and maintain your vehicle or boat's vinyl windows - by hand!

Step-1: Clear Vinyl Stain Reducer: Use this highly concentrated cleaner to first clean the vinyl surfaces to be restored. Some surfaces may require a second cleaning. Use the included microfiber towel to buff off any residue.

Step-2: Clear Vinyl Cleanser: After the vinyl window is clean, use this cleanser to deep clean the pores of the vinyl to restore optical clarity using the provided applicator. Wipe off any remaining residue with a clean microfiber towel.

Step-3: Clear Vinyl Shield: Designed to provide a protective coating over the vinyl windows, this highly concentrated protective shield is the last step in protecting and maintaining your newly restored vinyl windows. For best results, spray on a clean microfiber towel and spread the sealant over the vinyl surfaces. Flip the towel to a fresh, clean surface and buff dry.

Diamondite Glass Repair System Kit for Machine Application (DIA-4000)

Tired of looking at nasty scratches and mineral etchings in your windshield? This kit was designed to take on all of the above! Beginners don't be afraid, this kit was designed with the novice user in mind!

Step-1: Glass Resurfacing Creme: Considered to have some of the most advanced abrasives in any polish or compound on the market today, Glass Resurfacing Creme takes care of those nasty scratches and mineral etchings while leaving the glass smooth and clear. Polish over a 6" x 8" area at a speed of 800-1000 RPM or 3000-4000 OPM using the included leveling discs. Polish for a couple minutes until the Creme starts to dry. Buff off any remaining residue with a damp microfiber towel.

Step-2: Glass Poli-Shield: Designed to block out environmental pollution and moisture, Glass Poli-Shield is like a paint sealant - for your glass! Switch to the gel applicator pad and set your speed on 800-1000 RPM or 3000-4000 OPM. Work in an overlapping motion on a 2 x 2 sq ft area until completely covered. There is no need to apply pressure. Wipe surface clean with a microfiber towel. Now your glass will be protected for months to come!

Diamondite Multi-Purpose Screen Cleaning Kit (DIA-8000)

Did you just purchase a new BMW with navigation or finally get your hands on a top of the line LED television? Have no fear, you can keep that precious screen clear! This kit includes everything you need to clean and maintain your new investment without any fear of harming its delicate screen. Simple spray on and wipe off. It's a highly concentrated product so a little bit goes a long way!

Diamondite Glasswork System Kit for Hand Application (DIA-3100)

It's a secret that professionals don't want you to know about, but you can polish glass and get exceptional results - by hand!

Step-1: Glasswork Cleansing Clay and Clay Lubricant: Clay the glass surface you are working on to first remove any embedded contaminates in the glass. This clay was specifically designed to clean out the microscopic pores in glass. Buff off any remaining clay residue with a clean microfiber towel.

Step-2: Glasswork Restorer: This polish removes very fine etching and water spots in the glass. Use the supplied Zip Sponge to apply the Glasswork Restorer and once it begins to dry, buff off with a clean microfiber towel.

Step-3: Glasswork Shield: Specially designed polymer glass sealant to protect and maintain your newly restored glass surfaces. Simply mist the glass with Glasswork Shield and spread the sealant with a microfiber towel. Once the sealant is spread, flip the towel to a clean side and buff to a brilliant shine!

Diamondite Glasswork System Kit for Machine Application (DIA-3000)

Speed things up and do your glasswork restoration by machine with this kit. Very simple, easy to use kit for first time machine users. Kit includes everything you need to restore your glass with a machine.

Step-1: Glasswork Cleansing Clay and Clay Lubricant: Just as you would do in the hand application kit, clay the glass surface you are working on to first remove any embedded contaminates in the glass. This clay was specifically designed to clean out the microscopic pores in glass.

Step-2: Glasswork Restorer: Remove water spots and fine etching using this specially designed polish for glass. With the machine application you apply it with the included orange light cutting pad. Do about a quarter of the windshield and work at a maximum speed of 1800 RPM on your drill or rotary buffer. If you have a DA polisher you can use the optional DA Adapter.

Step-3: Glasswork Shield: Specially designed polymer glass sealant to protect and maintain your newly restored glass surfaces. Simply mist the glass with Glasswork Shield and spread the sealant with the microfiber applicator. Once the sealant is spread, flip the towel to a clean side and buff to a brilliant clarity!

Diamondite Perfect Vision Glass Master Bundle (DIA-730)

There is no longer any excuse to having filthy windows in your car or home with the Diamondite Perfect Vision Glass Master Bundle. Now you have the extra reach to get to those tight spaces to achieve crystal clear glass in your car or home! Use the included Glass Master bonnets and Cobra Waffle Weave Glass Towel with the Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner to get streak free, crystal clear glass!

    Diamondite Glass Cleaning System Kit

This is the ultimate kit to achieving crystal clear, super slick, protected glass for your daily driver!

Step-1: Spray Clay & Glass and Surface Cleaner: First clean the glass with Glass and Surface cleaner. Now you can achieve the exceptional results that clay achieves on glass, but with the convenience of an aerosol can! Spray Clay carefully pulls nasty oil and dirt out of the pores of the glass. Buff off any clay residue with a clean microfiber towel.

Step-2: Shield: Now you can have the protection and slickness of a polymer sealant for your glass - in an aerosol can! Not only that, but Diamondite Shield protects the glass from future scratches and prevents contaminants from bonding to the glass. Be sure to shake well and spray the glass with a very thin, light coating of the Shield. Once it starts to get tacky, use a clean, dry microfiber towel to buff the glass until clean and clear.

    Diamondite Bug Eraser Kit (DIA-9000)

If you're anything like me, you not only hate having dirty glass but it also makes you cringe when you see your freshly waxed car covered in bugs. There isn't always time to get out the bucket and hose and do a full wash. However, there is a quick, easy solution to getting off those pesky bugs before they harm your vehicle's finish.

Step-1: Waterless Bug Eraser: Whether the bugs are on your paint or glass, simply spray on the Waterless Bug Eraser and let it sit for about 30 seconds. Be prepared to be amazed as the bugs simply wipe away!

Step-2: Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner: On glass, use Perfect Vision Glass Cleaner to get rid of any left over residue and buff to a brilliant clarity. Wipe clean with a dry microfiber towel.

Step-3: Crystal Gloss Surface Protectant: The last step is to protect your glass and paint with a durable, super slick, clear coating. This will help prevent future bugs from sticking to the surface. Simply spray on, spread evenly over the surface, and then buff to a brilliant shine and clarity!

Re: Ultimate Guide for Diamondite Kits!

Still slightly confused about these two products:

Glass Poli-Shield: Designed to block out environmental pollution and moisture, Glass Poli-Shield is like a paint sealant - for your glass!

Glasswork Shield: Specially designed polymer glass sealant to protect and maintain your newly restored glass surfaces.

Both are polymer glass sealants right? Why/when should I use one over the other? I just ended up flipping a coin and bought Shield cause I both sounded the same.

Hey anzwhip, here is my response in the other Diamondite thread asking the same question.

For instance, Diamondite Glass Poli-Shield is like a tough polymer paint sealant and it applies like a paint sealant and you let it dry to a haze and then buff it off. Shield, on the other hand, is an aerosol product so it’s going to offer quick application. Like Poli-Shield, it’s durable protection for glass. Glasswork shield is a liquid spray sealant. While it may not last as long as the Poli-Shield or Shield, the Glasswork Shield is much quicker and more convenient to use. Spray on, buff off. It’s like a spray sealant. So essentially they will all protect glass, they all have their own application methods, and the Poli-Shield and Shield last the longest but the Glasswork Shield offers the quickest application.

Very cool. As a personal test, I did a 50/50 comparison between the aerosol Shield vs Aquapel to see which would last longest. If the difference is strictly application and not performance between Shield and Poli-Shield, then I don't have to follow up with my plans of testing out Poli-Shield afterwards.
