Review: Pinnacle Vinyl And Rubber Cleaner And Conditioner

Review: Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner
Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner

    Description: (Taken from AG's website)

A quick, easy way to keep your interior looking showroom new

Your car’s interior takes a lot of abuse day in and day out. Your car’s windows focus heat and ultraviolet energy onto the dash and door panels, and body oils that find their way from your skin to your armrests and seats eventually wreak havoc on the material. Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner is an all-in-one cleaner and protectant that makes it possible to detail your interior in 10 minutes or less. Use it to clean and protect dashboards, door panels, vinyl seats, and door facings against premature aging.

All products that bear the Pinnacle Natural Brilliance name rely on advanced chemistry instead of inexpensive petroleum distillates and silicone-based “cover up” oils that cause more harm than good. Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner is 100% water based. Our blend of natural and modern ingredients ensures your vehicle’s interior looks and feels like new for years to come. No greasy shine here!

Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Conditioner restores the showroom new look and feel of your vehicle’s interior in minutes. Simply spray Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Protectant onto a microfiber applicator pad and wipe the dash, vinyl seats, and door panels. Treated surfaces will be enhanced with a non-greasy, satin luster that reduces dangerous glare.

Don’t forget about your rubber door seals! A quick cleaning with Pinnacle once a month will keep them soft and pliable. Your doors will no longer freeze shut during the winter months!

Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner & Protectant contains natural conditioning oils that provide a fresh, clean fragrance. Treated surfaces will be protected against the damaging effects of UV rays. Apply as often as you'd like to keep your interior looking, feeling and smelling new.

    Price:
    $24.99 for 16oz
    $39.99 for 64oz
    $64.99 for 128oz

    The Review:

Here's a picture of the product description and instructions:

This product's description seems to be the same as the Blackfire AIO Trim & Tire Protectant but for interior surfaces. At least that's how I understood the product description. After trying the BF AIO Trim & Tire Protectant, I really loved the AIO nature of it. It cleans, protects and shines up the surface all in one step so it saves a lot of time. Based on this, I knew this new Pinnacle product will be a home run.

So let's get on with the review.

Here are before pictures of the test subject's passenger front door panel:

As you can see, the surface looks very dry and has dust particles and finger print smudges.

When working with interior products, I really don't like spraying the product directly to the surface because of overspray. Because of this, I prefer to spray the product to eh microfiber towel as shown below:

Here's me wiping the product on to the surface:

Here's the 50/50 shot of the passenger front door panel:

Here's the afters of the same panel. Please excuse the different lighting conditions of the before and after shots. The sun was covered by the clouds when I finished this panel.

The following pictures show the performance of the product in different parts of the interior.

Rear Passenger Side Door Panel Before:

Rear Passenger Side Door Panel After:

Rear Driver Side Door Panel Before:

Rear Driver Side Door Panel After:

    Steering Wheel Before (Filthy):

After wiping half of the steering wheel gently, here's the amount of dirt I was able to pull off.

I went over the left half again with more pressure and it even made the towel dirtier.

    Steering Wheel 50/50:

    Dash 50/50:

    Arm Rest 50/50:

    Observations:

The color of the product is milky white. It's a little bit on the runny side.

The scent of the product is very pleasant. It's a cross between coconut and pina colada. This scent makes this product a pleasure to work with.

The product seems to dry to the touch and because of this, you don't feel the product being oily at all. This is a big plus for me for any interior product. I hate products that don't dry to the touch or leave oily residue. This agrees with the product description.

The shine it leaves behind is very low sheen IMO. I don't like any shine in any of my interior cleaner/protectants and because of this, I only use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer to clean my interior surfaces. But I see myself using this product because the shine level is very low. And what's great is you can lessen the shine even further by wiping the surface with a dry microfiber towel. I've tested this and it works just as advertised.

This product definitely cleans the surface as shown by the dirty microfiber towel I got from wiping the steering wheel.

The only con I see with this product is the price. $24.99 is pretty steep for me.

    Conclusion:

This product works just as advertised. It cleans, conditions and protects the surface all in one step. The AIO feature of this product is a home run in my opinion because it saves so much time. And it works effectively. If you don't mind spending the cash, I'd highly recommend you try this product out.
