Duragloss #951/952 Aquawax: I have been converted
For Quick Detailers (QD) and Quick/Spray Waxes (QW) I usually but over the counter products (ie. Meguiars and Mothers). I have for a long time been using Meguiars Ultimate QD and Ultimate QW. They both have always left pleasing results. I can count on one hand the times I have had streaking issues. Both products did so on first use.
So today I went to go buy some more DG#902 and decided to try something new. I have always seen the #951, but never bought as I always had a bottle of Meg's UQW. Today however I finally decided to try Aquawax.
Living in an apartment now, I do a two bucekt wash at the coin opp. After washes I alternate between a QD or QW. So after my wash today I gave the AW a go.
Application:
I lightly went over the car with a waffle weave drying towel to soak up a majority of the water. With some water still remaining I sprayed half the hood with AW. Then spread the product in with a MF (microfiber) towel. The product spread very evenly, a lot better than previous products. Their was a nice uniform coat, almost like I applied a Liquid or paste wax to the surface.
Removal:
To remove I took a similar Mf towel and buffed lightly. The product nearly vanished. Then I buffed (final wipe) the section with a plush MF. All product at that point had been removed.
Final Results:
I was blown away by the gloss that was left behind. Much better than other products I have used. There was zero streaks, which I was impressed with, zero learning ins and outs of product(note this was done in shade as per directions on bottle). I also noticed when I lifted the wipers to clean the glass water always drips on the hood before I wipe them off. The water droplet hit the hood and rolled half way down the hood before I got to it. This stuff is slick!
I highly recommend this to anyone, especially those who buy these type of products OTC. This is my new got to QW. Product was applied to my Tuxedo Black Taurus with Meg's M21 topped with a 3 week old layer of Meg's M26. I am looking forward to the next rain to see if the 951 will shed the water like it did with the wiper droplet.

I know many use AW as a drying aid, and it no doubt adds lubricity to help lessen wash induced marring and lessens water spotting while drying.
I might be one of the few that have used it as a detailer spray after a wash. Works nice like this too.
I'm out, gotta get some more.

Once I get my car right and corrected, there is never a reason to use anything else, I buy it buy the gallon - not a detailer, just for my own use...

Wondering if you've tried ONR-WW? If so, how you would compare it to 932 rinseless wash with aquawax? TIA

I too have been converted! I was pretty satisfied with ONR over collinite 845 and the Klasse twins, but after trying 931 and AW I'll never use anything else. I can't wait for spring to try all the other DG polishes/sealants.

Use Aquawax just once and you are done. No more different product hunting involved.
