Metro Vac Too Strong of a Suction?

I am wanting to buy or barter for a Metro Vac but was wondering from those who have used them, has it's strong suction ever made vacuuming difficult, e.g. around brand new delicate yet stiff leather seats. Or around dash areas. The question I am after is if the super strong suction makes the end of the hose somewhat difficult to control precisly near or on delicate surfaces, which could increase the chance of marring surfaces.
I will trade my Rupes 15 to anyone who has a Metro Vac and wishes to swap. PM me if interested.

I wish there was a forum to exchange or sell/buy detailing stuff. Like craigslist, but for stuff like the metrovac and more..
Sorry I don't have any experience with suction on the Metro Vac but I would like the answer to this question as well

    Are you talking about "lift"?

My very old, yet very dependable, Craftsman 6hp has
    65" of lift.
    In comparison:
The 4hp Metro Vac 'n Blo is stated to have 95" of lift!

But, of course, there are many other factors that can decide the overall efficacy of a vacuum cleaner.

Interested to hear more on this too, I'll be in the market for a new vacuum soon as my current shop vac seems to be close to the end of it's usable life. Thanks for posting.
