Re: Up Close & Personal: BLACKFIRE Total Trim & Tire Sealant
This 50/50 shot alone makes me want to pick up a bottle of BLACKFIRE TT&TS:
Looks awesome Nick! To borrow one of your phrases; you really knocked one out of the park with this review

Two things, both dumb....
Can you post a pic of the consistency of the gel on the pad? For curiosities sake.
Next question, could one use this on engine trim pieces and can it withstand the heat in there?
Thanks.
Back to the full-time grind.

Thanks again guys!

Smooth trim doesn't absorb the product like porous trim does, so you need to buff off any excess after applying to smooth trim. It holds up very well on both smooth and textured surfaces.

I'll get a better picture for you today.
Yes, it works GREAT on trim pieces in the engine compartment. I'm thinking I'll use it for my next engine write up....

What sort of durability are we looking at?

Several months depending on the surface. Tires, a couple weeks.

Maybe it's because I worked all weekend and I'm exhausted, but I'm not getting this statement.
What would be the difference between an AIO sealant vs a restorer/sealant? Is it the Wolfgang product doesn't do much to restore the surface? I think most products I've used will turn faded trim darker. Is that not "restoring" the surface?
Please don't take this as negative...just trying to learn.

Oops - sorry for not elaborating any further.
Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant can also be used to seal and protect hard metal surfaces, like wheels and chrome bumpers, etc. Depending on what you're looking for, this can make Wolfgang the more versatile of the two, however for trim restoration alone I would personally choose BLACKFIRE.
