Derek, the pics look great, the last one makes the paint look like its been plugged into an outlet! The hood shot is very nice too!!

As far as application goes, like we talked about before, once the temps are in the upper 70's/low 80's its going to be interesting how the DGNCC lays down then. Even though I have 2x's DGNCC on the Abarth now a 3rd coat is going on the car in the summer, I've gotta see how it works when its warmer. Now this isn't a problem with DGNCC, its probably the way its made to work in longer and not dry so quick but also the cooler temps certainly play into it, no doubt about it.

Looking forward to seeing the car inperson a week from today, back in the D once again!

Q1: Can the coating be applied via PC/Finishing Pad for a more even layer?

Q2: Can Meguiar's Hi Tech 00, gtechniq G Wash, P21 BodyWork, Griot's Car Wash or other very mild auto shampoos be used?

To answer the 1st question, no because it goes on sooo thin, you really need to rub in by hand, just too much work with a machine, noone has done that to my knowledge. It does have a good work time though but still, do it by hand and you'll be happy.

The 2nd question, well, I see nothing wrong with using other mfg's soaps, afterall, a response via the President of DG stated you could use Optimum No-Rinse or their own rinseless to wash the car afterwards. That response right there should sell even more Enviroshield Systems, good people there at DG!

I bot the kit 1-2 weeks ago. $43 is a steal. Spent this week on post-winter prep using a PC/LC MF pad/Scholl's S3/LC polishing pad/DP and SQC prep polish (both are excellent by the way). Just waiting for temps to get to 60-70 F for the final coating.

There are 2 coats on the car. I took a bunch of pics of the detail, but will try and find some of the better pics and post later (when I'm not at work)
