UPDATES

October 13, 2012

Light to moderate rain all day. Truck hasn't been washed since Oct. 4, and paint is dusty/dirty.

Roads still wet, but stopped raining momentarily.




October 20, 2012

Had been raining pretty much everyday this past week. Truck was washed at automatic touchless car wash. Will get a whole after picture of the truck tomorrow.

Truck looks great. I'm interested in seeing how this holds up through the harsh Michigan winter and salt and chemicals they put on the roads. I grew up in Michigan. Hope to spend some time in the UP next year late summer early fall.

it will hold up..i just tried to remove it from my wifes highlander...i could really see it coming off after CG CWG and the elastrofoam block...it was a white milky substance haniging around when i used the elastrofoam block....i love this stuff and it will last..

Yep, it will definitely last and hold up well. It's been through this for the last 2 winters, and will easily last August-April.

Great idea! Nice truck. Beautiful finish. It does pop nicely. I caught the cowl area, beading as well as the finish. Love it. I have some of this sealant...I must have done something wrong, it didn't work too well. Should be an interesting thread!
