Pc7424

The only bad thing I had heard about this machine was vibration. I don't know if they have made some changes...but the PC is a lot smoother than the Meg 110v2!!

A lot of people complain about the vibration. To be honest, yeah there is some but it's not even bad. You get so use to it after multiple times. I don't even notice it now. Plus if you don't put much pressure down it has more vibrations, same thing if you press down really hard. You just have to find the sweet spot.

Re: Pc7424

I guess I was in that range tonight. When I used the Meguires my arm was tingling within about 5 minutes.

Re: Pc7424

The effect varies depending on the person. The Flex may take a little more effort (holding against paint due to weight, controlling motion) on vertical panels but never had any tinkling issue like I did with my old UDM 1.0. It can also be influenced by how you hold it - how tight of grip on body and head.

I would consider getting some anti-vibe gloves to see if that helps if it really causes issues so quickly.

I agree with Bunky, depends on how tightly you hold the machine. I find if I hold it loosely I seem to get better control over the machine, more so on my Flex than my GG, Meg's or PC.
They all vibrate to some extent, my PC has the least vibration of all my DA's

Re: Pc7424

My son and I were working on my car this morning. He was using the Meg. 110v2. I switched with him so he could try the PC. He liked the PC better too.

Re: Pc7424

I want a flex too. Looks like an awesome machine. Did you see the pics Mike posted the other day from their tour of the plant?
