OP, can you do a step by step of how you applied the product? I did a quick test on my dash and i ended up with some dark areas and some light areas, not perfectly uniform like the pics you posted. What i did is sprayed some product on the applicator pad, then made a couple passes over the dash, and finally wiped with a microfiber. I dont know if its just the dash or what but it was very ununiform. Any tips would be appreciated.

I used a microfiber applicator and did not wipe it down afterwards but instead worked it into the finish. It came out very even that way.
