Duragloss 501...

Tried it today on my white Jetta. Great product, VERY slick, and looks fantastic on its own. I didnt have 601, so I have to wait a bit to see how it looks topped.

The only thing I didnt like it that it really melted into the paint, which is hard on white, as I could not see where I applied/missed, and it made wipe off tough for the same reasons.

Whenever I order next, I'll pick up some 601. Going to top it with IW, as that is what I have and would have to order 105. Very nice on its own and hope it will protect well from sap, bugs, etc.

It is a great products for all colors but seems to really brighten up white paints.

Re: Duragloss 501...

I used the 652,601, 105 on my 32' 5th wheel in late November. It has had a cover on it since then but I uncovered it yesterday to do other things and it looked like the day I applied it. Have an order coming with 601,105,501,Aquawax,901 wash and the no rinse with aquawax. I have been toying with Duragloss 601 and 105 since November and the 5th wheel and have been impressed with the Longevity so far on anything I have applied it on. I think it is making me a believer that it is a fine line of products.

Great longevity, brilliant shine, fantastic price---summarizes Duragloss' sealants. What Collinite is for waxes, Duragloss is for sealants. Best-bang-for-the-buck sealant, IMO.

DG products provide great protection without the polish bonding agent (601), so don't worry. Something to take note of is the silky feeling of the paint vs. the traditional slick feeling most other products provide. It's still slick but has a different feel. Now Aquawax on the other hand has more of the traditional sealant feel that we are accustomed to.

Because with white you notice the cleaning action better than on most other colors. Darker colors hide dirt in the paint whereas white still looks dirty after washing.

Welcome to Duragloss. It truly is a sleeper line of products. No fancy marketing, no gimmicks, and no outrageous prices. Mostly a bunch of products that do what their label says they do. Something to take note of, after you use Rinseless Wash W/ Aquawax your paint will be wetter looking the next day. Top with regular Aquawax lightly for some added gloss and protection.
