Review : Car Pro Iron X paste

hi to everyone ! ! i just bought iron x paste with a friend , and we decide to make a test

lets get dirty hands on it!!

    here its the victim :P

its a 10 year old wheel , really dirt

we spray some apc diluted at 5 :1 and help with a hard brush to remove heavy dirt inside

some water to rinse, and here we found a HUGE black spot of "we dont knwo what is that" hahah

    here comes the star...

we apply as the site says ( in fact , we can get liquid version of iron x but i think this was the better choise since those black strange spots didnt came out easy with any degreaser)

we get stunned when that transparent jelly turns in violet so fast !

    little help with the brush...

    rinse..

and voila ! ! we get surprised a lot !

we can say that a 80% of the spots are gone , i think miss some parts to apply iron x paste..

we re apply in those spots again

    brush again

we found some tar spots , so i get my sample of tar x ant try it , love the lime smell of this one !

    rinse one more time

almost finished !! we spend arround 20 minutes each aplication, we save some serious working time..

lets flip the wheel and see whats in the other side !

    apc again

    a close up

    iron x applyed

    its almost all violet !!

    a little brush again...

    rinse..

    and here you go

and thats it !!! its almost brand new !!

i hope this review its usefull for all ag users !!

glad you had such great results with the product. however i think its alot due to the brush. that looks to be a medium-hard brush. looks pretty stiff. you can try compound a terry cloth towel or even steel wool #0000, sometimes #00 is required. clay sometimes works as well.

I find with any apc/super degreaser no matter the strength for baked on wheels its more about the brush than cleaner. the cleaner seems to be more of lube. caked on doesn't let the cleaner dissolved the dirty, it has this hard outer layer. you gotta scrub and swirl up the wheel. so follow up with compound/polish and always wax!!!!

Re: Review : Car Pro Iron X paste

hi ! thanks for compliments !!

talking about using brush and claybar.. at this point i must admint that i miss to tell that i try to use claybar and was a waste of time and money. take a look

i try to use it, results where painfull. claybar sticks in the wheel , no cleaning over that big black spot , and claybar was damaged a lot in short time, then i realize that using claybar was a waste of money and time with a lot of effort

and about brush, it was the only brush that i use for wheels in my house , after reading your words i check some videos on the you tube. no one use brushes with iron x , i think that part was my bad but i guess is not unnecesary always a little help its welcomed right??

    many thanks again guys !

    Nice work.

I think the real tip here was if you have a really dirty and neglected wheel that's important to you to get it really clean... take the wheel off the car and place it on a work table or cart so you can easily clean both sides without having to bend over.

Then when re-installing the wheel you'll have a chance to re-tighten and torque each lug nut plus check the air pressure.

That black stuff would be beadseal. It helps keep the tire on the rim.
