Shampoo, what to use with hard water?

What shampoo/car wash you use for when you don't have a water softner, and your water is hard as a rock?

Be quick and use a leaf blower to dry. Never wash in the sun.

Add an ounce of ONR or DP RW&G to your wash buckets.

It will still spot no matter what you use. None of these products are remove tds from the water. And as soon as you rinse with Your hose your spraying That hard water right back on. Only thing to do is wash in shade or pull in garage as soon as done washing to dry.

Re: Shampoo, what to use with hard water?

Here's what I do

- Pull it out of the garage to wash the wheels, tires, and wells. Then I rinse it off and maybe use the foam cannon. Once I'm done rinsing I'll pull it back into the garage. I use a CR Spotless to soften my tap water.

- Once in the garage I'll use two buckets to wash the water. I use distilled water to deal with hard water. However I do add a slight amount of ONR, I figure it can't hurt. Distilled water where I live is only 87 cents so I fill both buckets with distilled.

- Once I'm finished washing I pull it back out to rinse it off and then drive it back in to dry it.

Why don't I just wash and rinse it in the garage? It's too small and there are too many electrical outlets and tools for me to be able to do that. If I ever build a new house I'm certainly going to have a big garage designed into it. By the way, I still get water spots.

True but onr your doing one panel at a time and if your not in crazy direct sun it's hard to have water spots
