meguiars endurance tire spray
SUBJECT: MEGS ENDURANCE TIRE SPRAY (AERASOL)
SCENT: GRAPE
COST: $7.49-$7.99 CAN
APPLICATIONS: 12 OR MORE WITH 31"X 17" TIRES
looking for a good tire shine, i gave megs a shot. i perfer the areasol with a wheel shield because foams will run on my chrome wheels and i never liked gels. too messy and time consuming. applied to a dry tire, megs does provide a deep rich shine. application can be trickey. the sprayer covers a wide width of coverage. sling i found to be minimal. a good product none the less. my usuall is advanced auto tire shine (aerasol). for $5.99 a can it provides a less glossy finish that i like on my truck. tip for the megs i have found is less is more. dont overspray the tire and your results will be great. i am on the fence about the megs. great product. a bit spendy. but none the less one of the better i have used. just dont know if i will switch from my AA brand. after some rain and a wash the megs still held up on the tires rather well.
PROS: TRUSTED BRAND. GREAT SMELL. DEEP GLOSS SHINE. PROTECTION GOOD.
CONS: A BIT PRICEY. TRICKEY SPRAYER.

Good to know, thank you for the write up. I'm hung up on the Endurance gel for now.
'Cause there's just something women like about a pickup man.

I tried this product a few month's back:
A lil' too shiny for my liking but some folk's like it that way.

I like the gel too.
The shiny tires work on a shiny black car!

I did a review on it a couple weeks back too ... I too found the spray unique and flows alot of product. It does spit unless rewipe.

Re: meguiars endurance tire spray
I have used the gel form and it really leaves high gloss, I put on two coats one time and it looked ridiculously wet looking. What I really like about it is that it lasts a long time, it had been 3 weeks at one point, tons of rainy days and it didn't have the high gloss as it diminishes over time but it was still clean black. With the 3 weeks since I last applied or cleaned my car, you could tell where the tire gel had been applied, and dirt didn't cling to the sidewall as usual since when I cleaned the wheels there was noticeably less dirt as normally there would be on the sidewall. My alternative is optimum opti-bond tire gel when I want just a clean low gloss black wheel, and since it's more cost efficient.

i use adam's VRT for my tires, i like the look of clean soft black, not that high gloss stuff that i usually find flung down the side of my car after a drive.

You should try 303 Protectant (better UV protection) or Optimums Optibond. Both will provide the looks you desire and you might just find a new protectant.

Re: meguiars endurance tire spray
maybe i will try something new. i have had unsatisfactory results with spray/foam/gel shiney products before, they seem to cause build up over time and eventually have browned some of the rubber. I prefer something that protects and actually feeds the rubber instead of just coating it
