| Anyone tried Four Star Tire Protectant on BOGO?
Thats the only BOGO that tempts me this week. I have their wheel cleaner that is also on BOGO. I highly recommend it! I really like all of the Four Star products I have tried, especially the Spray Wax and leather conditioner. Both have Polycharger as does the tire protectant. I use Opti Bond now and like it. How does this compare to Opti Bond? I suspect it is more liquid than Opti Bond Gel.

I have to be honest, its been a long time which means to many choices and didnt follow my needs. I too like Optibond and still Poorboys Bright/Bold (less durability, more gloss). I seem to remember the Four Star being a gel product. If it added polycharger to it I likely tried it before that. Maybe I get the rep to toss me some for testing at DF2010.

Thanks Killer, obviously it didnt blow you away like UPP. I have most of a gallon of Opti Bond and most of a bottle of Ultima Tire & Trim so I dont need any., but that hasnt stopped me before. I think if I was limited to 2 product lines I would pick OPtimum & Four Star.

I use. Like it very much. I think it is easy to apply, not glossy. Decent life span on tire but nothing outstanding. It is a gel , a little goes a long way. Never experienced any spin off, but I always do a final wipe with a terry cloth anyway.
edit:
oops, just checked bogo. They have the spray on bogo this time. What I use is not the spray, but the gel. (Got it on bogo last fall)

I too remember a gel similar to Pinnacle but not as glossy. Sounds like the formula was updated and we all might have missed it. I thought I was having a senior moment |

I know this an old post, but 4 Star is my favorite tire treatment and I have tried PLENTY (Zaino, Ultima, Stoner's, 303, Megs (several kinds), etc.) Goes on easily, no sling, nice satin finish and, most important for me, the longest lasting product I have used.

You have to wait a certain amount of time before you drive so it doesnt sling off, yet it still does. I got it over the side of my truck. Plus it's to shiny for my tastes.

Which product are you writing about, the gel or the spray?

I broke down and bought a bottle of the spray. I didnt have sling but it is a tad bit glossy. We didnt drive the car until the day after application. It is very easy on. Next up for me is the new DP Gel which I got BOGO last week.
