Review: Micro-Restore Microfiber Detergent Concentrate

I just finished using this product to wash a large load of heavily soiled microfiber. I started by washing everything with Oxi Clean laundry detergent. I then add the Micro-Restore and re-washed everything. Everything came out reasonably clean. Some of the towels were very soiled and had sat in a storage bin for a long time but I thought I would try to clean them any way. I did it just to see how clean I could get them.

Pros:
1. Built in easy measure chamber.
2. Works Well
3. There is a definite microfiber rejuvenation. (Quite a bit of Static)
4. Priced lower than the other options.

Cons:
1. It didn’t get all of the towels clean. (but like I said I knew better)

So in closing I am impressed with this product and I plan ordering some more when this bottle is done. But 2oz. per load equals out to 12 loads of microfiber. So it may take awhile.

are you supposed to pre-wash with the micro-restore as you did with the oxi-clean? I typically just use a 'free' detergent meaning it has no purfumes, softeners, color etc with good success. I've also used the Cobra powder packets which i really liked also....just need to order some more.

The directions don't say to prewash like it did. But I had read many post where users simple used "Free Detergent" to clean everything. I only did this prewash because of how soiled some of my towels were. I was pleased with this outcome. Maybe on my next load of microfiber I will simply wash with the Micro-Restore.

I never have pre-washed before using the Micro-Restore and my MF towels come out clean.
I don't use my MF towels for grunge work, so mine may not be as dirty as some.
My dirtiest use for my MF is with Poorboy's Spray & Wipe and even than, I don't get them truly grungy.

Drying on low heat does wonders to cut static!!

You are supposed to just use micro-restore to clean them. Many mf washes say 2 to 4 ounces for load depending on how soiled they are.

I use Micro-Restore in a front loading machine. 1 ounce is maximum because a front loader only uses about a gallon of water.

Technically, it got them clean. It just didn't remove the stains.
