In that case they shouldn't lead you to believe you can just about go willy nilly and wash your vehicle from top to bottom like you normally would... I think they should keep it real and give you the heads up to wash the areas you pre treated 1st and rinse, then continue as normL, especially considering its not always 7am and in the shade when people are having to wash vehicles. I can only imagine what a PITA this could turn out on black paint washing in dead heat.

I guess I never read the directions. I was going off recommendations on the forum for getting bugs out of the radiator fins. It really does work well for that!

Mckee's Road Kill Bug Remover Spray doesn't suffer from this even in direct sun on a black car. Just sayin.

The directions are clearer on the Mckee's bottle.. It says to spray and get busy on it after 30 seconds then rinse. Smarter directions... Fool me once.Poorboys Bug Squash - 1st thoughtsFool me twice, and I'll wind up in the Poor house. Lol.

Now that I think about it.... if it will dissolve bug parts, maybe I want to be more careful when I spray it...

I feel like an objective 'do not let it dry' is a heads up that you should take care when using and pay attention to it drying

TBO I'm more disappointed because this Megs bottle of Safe D-Greaser that I just bought was perfect for it. Lol.

Plus if I hadn't diluted the entire bottle it would be somewhat convenient to donate to someone in Florida who could put it to good use.

It is still useful to spray on bugs stuck in the radiator. 1:3 dilution should still work.

Only thing I liked about Bug Squash is the smell. I've also used CG Bug and Tar and for me it performs about the same.

Is there a bug/tar remover in a spray gel form? Bugs and tar are mostly on vertical panels...the product just drips down...and for the most part, it needs dwell time. A gel form that sticks to it and doesn't dry so fast would be awesome.

You might use a foaming sprayer to increase the dwell time of liquid cleansers.
