What ext cord do you like for the 7424?

Just curious which one you guys like. Gonna grab one for the warehouse. 10g, 50' sound about right?

That sounds about right. The thicker the gauge (lower numerically), the better.

Just a Porter Cable 7424? at 50 feet?
14 would do but if you are paranoid spend the money on a 12 gauge.
    10 gauge is overkill.

Get one rated for outdoor use it will have better sheathing.

    I agree👆🏽

I use a 14 gauge 50' cord for my HF DA.

    I've got a 14g but didn't want to burn it up. 12g is what I'm thinking @ 50'.
And yes I'm a bit paranoid and I love overkill.

For a PC? No chance of burning it up using a 14 gauge. I based my purchase using the chart inside the HF DA's user manual. And the PC uses less power than the HF, so there you go.

I run my 7424 & Flex on a 50' 16 guage. Nothing more is needed. All those charts will lead you to buying more than you need. I'm not cheap; I just do some good research first. I've never had a single issue runing my polishers on a 16 guage.
