Sorry, but I must disagree.
Using the PC as a 'polisher' vice a 'sander', the need of different counter weight is actually not needed. The action of a 'sander' on the machine is much more harsh than when using polishing pads.
Remember, the PC started its' life as a sander, and "we" turned it into a super polisher.

In dog beers, I've only had one.

And here's the article that documents the history of the PC Sander to PC polisher....
The Free Floating Spindle Bearing Assembly - The Story Behind The Story...
I think I'm going to rename the above article...
And here's a related article...
The history behind polishing paint with a DA Polisher
And something to think about....
It's only the PC that you can change counterweights, the Meguiar's and Griot's for example, copies of the PC have no provision to change counterweights.
If Jordan notices a big improvement by switching counterweights then that's all that's important. I've never noticed any difference myself and I use these types of tools for all types of things,
Machine sanding car paint = THIN sanding disc.
Machine sanding wood - THIN sanding disc.
Machine paint polishing = Compounding, Polishing & Machine Waxing.
Machine decontamination = Nanoskin pads

I have a mixture of CCS and Hex Logic too. I agree with the love for the green one! Wow! I was able to get my neighbor's 04 Mustang cleaned up with the green hex logic, and Ultimate Compound. Also 5.5" size. The blue pad with UP is great too.
I haven't used anything larger than the 5.5" pads on my pc. The 5.5" just works for me, and I don't see the need to "fix what isn't broken".
