    The MS L21 has a standard 5/16-24 backing plate but it has cooling holes in it which doesn't mean mounts like a Rupes BP. If you don't believe it just check it out on the Maxshine website.

    I'm taking about the ws-21 from waxed shine. I was ready to buy one so I got some details on it. Their plate looks like the gloss-it plate.

    No idea of the others cause I have no intention of buying it overseas and paying outrageous shipping.

    The WS-21 is the same as the MS L21. The 5" backing plate is only $20 so I doubt it is like the Rupes plate.

    I have a picture of the ws-21 5" plate.....looks just like the gloss-it plate. The only difference is the color and amount of cooling holes.
