2 PC's - time for pads & plate upgrade

Alrite so i ordered my 6.5" ccs kit from here a month ago.
I have 2 PC's both with a 6" plate.
1 of my backing plates seems to be running out of juice so i figure it would be time to upgrade my plate.

what do you guys feel about a 5" plate with a 6.5" pad?
should i stick with a 6" plate
should i get the 5" plate and get 5 1/4 pads

i plan on using 1 PC as my main polshing tool (particullary with my SIP & nano...and powergloss for the future)

i also was thining about ditching hte other 6" plate on the other PC and gettting a 4" plate and use that stricly for whatever 4" pads need use for =)

hmm im stuck in a bind...i have 6.5" pads , but dont mind "upgrading" to a 5 1/4 if for soem reason thats better to have since it mite create more heat or have more effectiveness with these polishes....

ultimately id like to get my metabo within the next few months...and would technically have an extra pc...but i guess for the money id get in return if i were to sell 1 of the pcs...i mite as well have both...yanno just in case ...cuz 3 polishers is what we all need...hahaha

so many questions..argh

sound off!

Just for personal preference, I like the bigger than 5 inch pads on the 5 inch plate. The one on the UDM's probably 5 1/4".

whatever you do do not take any advice from nica on this one. Before you know it you will have twelve PC's, 4 cyclos, 9 UDM, 4 makitas, and 16 metabos. Each with its own pad set of course.
