Another backing plate question

OK, I'm gonna order this one, LC-43-125DA. Will this delaminate at speed 6 on the PC 7336?
Seems like the Megs one does.
Also would XMT 1 be a good finish polish?

Thanks all!

Hmm... I wonder how that 5 in. backing plate will work with your 6 in. counterweight? I think Meghan has said before that it should be fine, or maybe it was someone else from AG. I'm sure it will work a little better than the Meguiar's as long as you use smaller pads (like the 6 inchers).
XMT 1 will work as a good finishing polish.

Did not now that it mattered which counter weight. I have Megs 6.5 pads.
I'm just looking for a new backing plate.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the backing plate you ordered is going to work perfectly with the 6 in counterweight. I remember an AG staff saying so... I will look for it.

EDIT: I thought it was talking about backing plates, but it was regarding counterweights. It said that the 5 in. counterweight would work fine for all pad sizes. I can't imagine why a 6 in. counterweight would be any different.

He'll be fine with the weights. As for #6, you'll lose it again. Meg's says no to ever using 6 on anything of theirs. I use 6 all the time with my EDGE 2K pads.
Oh yeah, XMT is one fine product line....start with XMT 1 and work your way down if needed. I would recomend Edge products.....you'll never need a backplate again.

I never had either of these (yellow) fall apart and I use my PC at 6 all the time.

So which on do you have all? Just about want to get the 6 inch.
Still have a 1/2 bottle of #80. Probably should use it up before I order more stuff. Might let me stay out of the doghouse... .
Now the Megs plate I glued the velcro back on with some glue but does not hold. But the plate I need.

Kelly
