Backing plate question

do i have do buy one of thoes yellow backing plates or can i just use the backing plate that come with the PC to put other pads on??

the pc doesnt come with a backing plate...you need to buy one of the yellow ones

If you got the the PC 7336SP and it came with the black plate with velcro then yes you can use that plate....some PC units come with a plate like the 7336..the plate is a 6in ...I still use the one that came with mine and its actually a very nice plate...

If you get one of the PC7424 kits that come with extra pads and things from AG, you get a backing plate too

you need a hook&loop, or velcro, backing plate to make the pads work

If he bought a PC 7336SP it will come with a backing plate....the 7424's do not come with one....

yeah i got a 7424, also do i have to buy that XMT pad conditioner stuff to spray on the pad before i use it??

You don't have to buy and use the XMT pad conditioner. However, I recommend that and the cleaner. Both are great products. The cleaner is especially helpful.

If you don't get the pad conditioner you can spray a QD on the pad.

go for the flexible backing plates, well worth the money no matter if you got the 7336 or 7424.

I recommend DP pad rejuvinator along with the flexing backing plates on AG
