Prep before polish/wax job

OK, you guys have convinced me to move forward with a UDM. Before I start using it on my jeep, which just received 2 coats of Liquid Glass by hand, what should I do to prep the paint prior to using the UDM on it? I assume I have to remove that Liquid Glass and get the paint as clean as possible prior to using the UDM and let's say an XMT kit for swirl removing?

Just wash and clay before you polish. Between the clay and the polish, you will have removed all the Liquid Glass.

Yep, just wash (I sometimes use something extra strong for this wash since I'm not concerned about maintaining the current protection) then clay, then polish.
