Backing plate and pads

I currently have Megs backing plate and pads. Is there a better plate than this? The pads seem OK but I'm a noob. Whats your opinions?

Dont know the backing plate specifically, just make sure it is flexible. Works when you are rounding edges. As for pads, Megs and Lake Country offer some of the best.

Thanks. Seems like the the glue on the backing plate has come loose.
I'm using 8006 for polish and 9006 for the LSP. Car is better now. Going old school and putting on #16. I have 2 cans!

Never got to try it , heard it was quite durable for a carnuaba. Got axed with VOC regulations so must have alot of solvents, or mineral spirits.

As a former user of Meg's backing plates I 2nd that. Also you can drop the backing plate and go with the Edge2000 system.

The 5' flexible backing plate I got from Autogeek doesn't seem very flexible.
