7424 comes with 5 inch counterweight. For most larger pads, you need to upgrade to the 6 inch counterweight. It might come with some of the kits but do not know of the Edge kit specifically.

Well since Meg's my partner in crime I'll answer for her. If you order the 7424, include a seperate 6" counter weight from AG (should only be a couple $). I have the 7336 from Lowes which already has the 6" counter weight, and in conjunction with the Edge 2K 6" pads (which are already centered perfectly) there is little vibration compared to other setups.

Meghan, isn't a larger one needed for the bigger diameter pads though?

That's almost quote for quote what Jason told me when I ordered my PC last year. I asked him over and over, probably 4 or 5 times, if he was sure and he never waivered. I hung up the phone still not 100% convinced that I didn't need a collection of counterweights... well, been using my PC with various (WG LC) pad sizes for about a year and haven't had to mess with changing the counterweight one single time!
