Orange Pad

I see some people have said they use xmt 360 with the orange light cutting pad.I thought that pad was only to be used with medium and heavy compounds(XMT 3@4 thats all I use it for in a two step process followed by a light compound with a white pad) and that the orange pad causes micro-marring.Or is it the coumpounds that cause the marring? Please help me out!

The yellow is the marring pad - I think what you aare doing is fine - but you can always step it down.

I've never experienced any marring using the LC Orange pad and my PC
Of course, I've used it with Menzerna Polishes, and it even finishes LSP ready

All compounds and polishes finish off differently. Menzerna finishes off a lot nicer then XMT. XMT 360 and orange pad WILL NOT cause marring. XMT 360 has ultra fine abrasives, very little cutting power.

Yeah like others have said, its really product dependent as to whether or not the orange pad will leave micro-marring.
