I understand you are moving up and down on side panels. I am having trouble incorporating the horizontalness of this...and FWIW, that is not what Joy's post said. He said "well i like to use a up and down motion on horizontal surfaces, following the curve". The line of the curve as extended along the body panel may be horizontal, but the surface is vertical.
