Also, the fact that the LC CCS pads are larger and therefore cover more area and therefore make polishing quicker doesn't seem to be true. From my experience the LC CCS 6.5" pads just end up lifting up on the edges off the paint so in reality, the pad is covering just as much area as the small low profile pads. Those 6.5" LS CCS pads just seem to be a big waste of product.
Yea, I was going to say the same thing and I find that using the 5inch or so, I actually work faster...but that could be my imagination

It should fit the backing plate Lauren, I just can't recall what size the backing plate was on the PC..um..5inch? I'm almost certain it was 5inch. Anywho if it is 5inch the 5 and a 1/4 inch pad will fit just fine on a 5inch backing plate...well works fine with my 3M backing plate.

I've even used the Lake Country pads for the Cyclo on my rotary works great...me like

Jason, After this tried mine on the vette and found it worked much better. I ended up buying that pack of white and orange - got it last week, so I have to pass; I am sorry!
There may be others who do not want theirs. ????

The 6.5 LC, slowly changing over to the LC CCS 6.5 pads. The cut is good on the low profile....had no idea until I got one and asked and then tried it. With the vette I need all the cut I can get, but Kllr warned me no yellow pads on the vette. I figure he would know...
