I'm about to buy a PC, I think the EDGE will be fine for me. Polishing, applying wax weekend warrior. It be a long time before I put enough work into breaking anything!

Please contact Meghan or myself and we will replace any of these items as they are under warranty. Odd things do happen with both systems at times, I just recently had a customer on another forum after using a backing plate for the 1st time the velcro some how melted. The good thing is that we have some great manufacturers that stand behind their products. So, if you ever encounter any problems please give us a shout and we will do our best to make it right.

Yeah i'm fine with my CCS & LC pads. They work fine.
The glue seperated after a couple of uses. They sent me a new one, and I have been using it (a lot) for 4 months without a single issue.

I will say the service from Edge was great. I had a blue pad fail after first use and it was replaced quickly, but it is frustrating to have stuff break.

Look Guys,
One thing I have learned is that the PC is very hard on pads, backing plates, and adapters but we build our products to the highest standards, continue to improve them based on customer feedback, and stand behind the products 110%. There are problems with backing plates, and velcro all the time but people normally don't post done with LC, because everyone has velcro like LC, but only we have the quick connect system. Our pads are made from the same foam as LC and should last longer because they are double sides so all I can ask is that people give us the chance to make things right and we will.

Thanks,

I must admitt that when I have read problems in the past with the Edge system it kept me from trying them out. I still wanted to try them out and placed my order last night. The problems seem to be few and far between. I would assume there are similar problems with velcro systems. I've not experienced problems with velcro and hope I continue this with the Edge system

Thanks,
Why not explain what your doing to improve your system instead of continuing to put your competitors products in all your replys..

I have always read/heard about your good CS and the fact that your always willing to rectify the problem..but to continue to bash the competitons product is unfair..IMHO un-professional

just an observation

Umm, I didn't see anything that could even remotely considered "bashing"...

The edge simply stated specs... nothing more, nothing less??

I didn't see him bashing LC or other competitors in his post. I saw him making a comparison to a velcro backing plate and using LC as the example. Every system has issues. I very rarely see the velcro issues posted though. On my own car, the velcro failed and the pad flew into the yard. Requiring a drive of 1.5 hour drive to AG's warehouse to get a replacment (long weekend ahead and didn't want to wait).

Was that a Meguiar's backing plate by any chance?? I've had a Meg's bp ordered from Autogeek go bad through the heating of the PC and the velcro separating... it's very obvious as well because the velcro around the edge grabs onto the pad, then when you pull that off (slowly peel it from the edge, it just flies off since there's nothing holding it in the middle and very little resistance at edges. I just ordered LC backing plates from you guys since I've used one before for hours on a PC and felt no difference... if it's possible for you to replace my Meguiar's bp with an LC one that would be great... I'll PM you the details...
