I'm still the lonely guy using 7.5" LC pads with the PC, rotary and UDM.

I do have some 5.5", 6" and 6.5" but I love my 7.5" variable contour pads made by Lake Country .

How's the results with the UDM and the 7.5 inchers? Does it have any problem with them?

I ordered the PC kit which included the 6.5" LC CCS pads and I also recieved as a free offer 2 5.5" Wolfgang low profile pads. I hated every second of the 6.5" LC CCs pads on the PC and the 5.5" low profile WOlfgangs were far better. They used a way less product and the PC was actually able to spin them. I don't really understand the point of the larger pad, the edges just end up lifting off the paint anyways. So in reality the 5.5" low profile pad I was using made more contact with the paint that the 6.5" and thus was able to work the product faster and move on. I am really disappointed with my purchase of the LC CCS 6.5" Porter Cable kit.

I hardly use my 6.5" CCS pads anymore, usually just for glazing with the PC.. Once I got one of the freebie 5.5" pads, I havent gone back..

the 5 and 5.5 inch pads are a PC users dream....they work fast and use much less product....there is not going over a area 3-4 times to correct..1-2 times and it done...on a rotary I find I can drop speed with the smaller pads and still get great results in just 1 going over of the area....and have better control and no hops and no dry pads...

No problems at all with the UDM or PC. The UDM doesn't bog like the PC does.
