| If your getting a PC you can't go wrong with either one Edge or Lake Country. When you are working with a rotary I prefer the Lake Country, I find it a little better then Edge pads. In all fairness it's all personal preference, if you can order of each example, try the orange Edge pad and an Orange Lake Country pad and see which one you like the most. I have the Edge 2000 pads (regular and waved), Lake Country pads, Meg's pads and with the PC I liked the Edge but now that I'm on to the rotary I'm going to stay with the Lake Country/velco type.
Like I said it's all a personal preference, as you get more involved in detailing with a PC you will get a feel as to what you prefer and you will be able to make your own desicions but good idea to ask for opinion.
