| | | It's pretty small and easy to miss. Does your backing pad clear the counter weight without it? Are you able to spin it by hand and have it spin freely for a few seconds?

| | | I had a black washer and a grey one...I think one came with the Porter Cable backing plate also...but if you can not find one..goto the hardware store and get a nylon washer ..they are like a nickel each...
