Dark Paint

ANy suggestions on what products work the best on black, red, or any very dark paint, for removing swirls, polishing, and sealant/waxes?

Poorboys SSRs 1 , 2, 2.5. I would use the SSR 1 to clean up any hazing on the paint or on a car with the paint in real good condition. It won't work well for deep swirls and marring.although i seen a pic where the poster pushed the SSR 1 to its limits with a pretty swirled paint obtaining good results.I wouldn't try it ..

I own a truck with black paint & it's true, the SSR's work well. But I prefer the Optimum Polish & the Menzerna Polish line for dark colors. As for sealants, WG, UPP & some other "non Geek" sealants looks terrific on dark colors. When it comes to waxes, look no further than Souveran!

My altima is black. I use SSR1, 2.5, PwC, Natty's blue, QW+. Tomorrow I'm doing a full detail. For a sealant I'm going with WG Deep Gloss, and following up with Pinnacle LS.

Oh dont think I dont beat on her a bit also. Needle never saw less than 120MPH on the way to Detailfest last year. We should all comidere a hotel in the name of AG during Detailfest II and visit Moroso and some of Florida favs like Lucilles . I hear Hertz will soon be renting GT-H Mustangs , wouldnt it be fun to break one in for them also. (we can return it detailed, so they wont catch the bald tires)
