You will love your shmitts I have both the yellow/white and the black one and they make washing vehicles alot easier. The black shmitt is especially nice because when you are washing your rims your hand hand won't get all beat up do to being inside the shmitt. Also wash my shmitts in the washing machine on gentle with woolite an cold water, come out looking like new. Mike...

I already have 3 orange, xmt 2, xmt glaze which came with the pc 7424 kit that I previously got for xmas. This stuff is just going to be additions to my pc 7424 kit. I think i've got it all. Now I need to get some skills and find customers. I only got the yellow just incase it's needed for those water spots that I have. That's going to be my last resort pad.

I too would consider the Edge pads ... comes with adapter. Otherwise you might need to consider a flexible backing plate also with all LC pads.

Killr, you've changed your thinking on this? I didn't think you were really for the Edge system. Cool...

I like them both ... still fancy a good LC pad also. The two sided deal on the Edge system is a great offering.

I have the Makita rotary, and I know for sure AG has the Edge2000 7.5 and 8 inch pad kit for it. But I want to get 6.5 inch pads also. Does all the 6.5 work fine as long as I have the adapter. I ask since AG has the title posted as 6.5 inch DA pad. Thanks!

As I forget, the yellow CCS is not very hard, isn't it?
I touched it and I think it won't be very difficult to control via rotary.

Chu....you can use the 6.5 pads on the rotary...just get the adapter for rotary..the pads will fit ...I find the 6.5 pads work great on a rotary..you get better control..less buffer hop...easy to keep flat so less holograms..and can get in spaces better...

it is all user preference..but to me the 6.5 pads work best for me..

Well I got my new backing plate today and it works fine now. The first one had no thread at all like the one I got today. The one I got today was in a bag and also shrink wrapped, unlike the first one that was in a bag but not shrink wrapped. Thanks Meghan!
