| | Decent Foam Pad Cleaners? What products can be used to safely clean foam pads..other than snappy clean? It seems like there should be something available at local auto parts store. Simple Green, etc. |

| | | I have found a sprayer of 10:1 ZEPs Citrus degreaser from Home Depot cleans most everything. Smells nice and rinses clean.
Can be harsh on skin. Do not get it on wax you wish to keep.

| | | Microfiber detergents I have found to be very effective. I mix about 1/2 oz in 1 gallon of water and let soak for a couple hours, aggitate in the solution, then rinse, shake excessive water from the pads and then air dry. |

| | | I have XMT pad cleaner on order. So I guess I can just spray it on and then rinse off with warm water?
The only thing I don't like about the pad cleaning idea, is that then you have to let them dry to use again. Even after spinning them on speed 6, and even standing on them with in a towel, how dry are they? Don't they need to be completey dry in order to use again? | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
