PC 7424 & Edge 2000 8" Durafoam pad

Can I use the Edge 2000 8" inch pads with the PC 7424?
Thanks Ryan

Hey my names ryan as well!

Well technically you CAN use them but its not recommended. The PC isn't powerful enough to make full use of pads that large in a dual action motion that it does.

Stick with 6-6.5" pads for best results.

I was just wondering because I like the way they have an edge to them.
Thanks Ryan

No problem man. For the PC, look at these:

for just pads:

no dont use the rotary pads on a pc the pads are not made for a pc...
i recall speaking to Aaron @ dedication to detail about this and instructed me not to do this due to adhesive not up to par with a pc....
pc puts more stress on a bp and pad....

Thanks for the replies! I will probably go with the 6" kit for the PC.
Thanks Ryan

I'd stick with the 6 inchers for the PC. Slap an 8 on and it will feel awful and unbalanced. You will not get any cut at all.

You'll be very happy with the EDGE PC pads. I use them daily. Some have touched more than 100 cars....with the same pad. And I'm rough on them.
