Newbie question

Hi - first post on this forum - and of course I have a question.

Just got a PC DA and bought some Edge pads from the store section of this site (along with some SMR and Klasse AIO, etc). BTW, I like Klasse AIO followed by S100 wax, but that's a bit O/T. Anyway...

My car is a black 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder (bought used). The factory finish is not clear coated, and while the car seems clean (has been clayed and NXT put down to "hide" the swirls), there are light swirl marks covering it everywhere.

My question is how does one approach the body creases with a machine approach? The MR2 has both convex and concave body creases are fairly sharp angles (not smooth curves). something like this _/ joins the line from hood to headlight/fender top. See attached pic for a not so good look (sorry, only one I have on hand) at the areas of my concern.

tia of course.

The edge pads are very flexible, i would approach it carefully, slowly, and accurately...........

When I have weird angles I just take them one at a time and make each side it's own panel even if it's small. You can always get some spot buffs too.

The hood on my Bonneville is very similar to yours. I would do it in the three sections as it is divided by the offsets in the hood. Then I would do the slightly vertical part on both sides as I did the middle section.
