| | | Just bought a PC 7336-SP. Will these pads suffice? I am currently looking at pads on this page. I am looking into getting white, gray, and blue pads. Currently, I use the Zaino Pro system. Will these pads suffice or should I get different ones? Also, I know nothing about backing plates. Which should I buy? (My paint job has no swirls, haze, or holograms. Just a few lite scratches around the rear passenger side door handle.)

| | The Lake Country pads are excellent. You would use the 5'' yellow backing plate with the DA pads.

| | | I would highly recommend skipping the backing plates and get the edge 6" da pad set, its cheap, I think its still $99.00, and comes with five pads, adapter, xmt pad conditioner and cleaner and some mfs. They are extremly easy to use, self centering, and its like having two pads in one. I used to use LC pads, but after the edge pads I'll never use anything else. |

| | After my LC pads are worn, I'll most probably buy the Edge Pads. Love the idea of being able to flip the pad over and keep going when one side gets "caked".
Here's the link explaining the Edge system http://www.autogeek.net/theedgebuffing.html

Also, I have the 7336 which came with the 6" counterweight. So I would by the 5" backing plate with the 6.5" pads right?

The pads center perfectly every time and you just flip them and keep going . A kit is the most cost effective way to go.
