Well, a little J-B Weld bailed me out. I managed to finish the car with it epoxied back together no problem. I didn't go any higher than speed 5 but once I was done I cranked it up to 6 and it seemed to be doing okay. The car looks good but man the clear coat on a vette is tough. I still have plenty of scratches that I will try again later. I am pretty sure that 2 will require a rotary. Of course the weather forecast for tomorrow is rainy.

I appreciate the responses and I will give Jason a call when I get back but tomorrow starts vacation. I can hardly wait. Tail of the Dragon, here I come!

Just an update. Had a great trip and got back on Sunday. Called Jason this morning and he had a new backing plate order in the system in about 2 minutes.

Great service! I just wish more businesses had this kind of customer service.

Don't worry. If you have a problem with one, Autogeek will fix you up quick. I haven't had a problem with my second one.

Just a question, does that mean that you don't have to pay for another and Autogeek will send it over to you at no cost or are you saying buy another and continue as normarl?

Just curious...or could some one that has gone through this please give me some feedback.

Thank you

we guarantee products offered by AG ... thus in most cases it would be replaced unless some tampering or physical evidence suggested something sinister. In most cases ... a simple replacement is mailed.

I'm not saying they will automatically send you a new one, but I'm sure they will stand behind it. Mine split on the weekend, I called on Monday and they requested pictures to show the manufacturer. They then put in an order for a free replacement that was shipped on Tuesday, no questions asked. They didn't even ask for me to send the broken one. I figure I'll keep it as a spare and see if I can glue it somehow, but I wouldn't trust it... Can't ask for better customer service than that.

This happened to me as well and AG stood behind their product 100% Got the replacement the next day! Then about a MONTH later, Jason emailed me and asked how the replacement was doing for me! I was blown away----that is outstanding customer service folks! Could not ask for anything more than that!!!!! Jason and Meghan are the shiznit! Great people to deal with For this reason (not the only one) they have won my business.
