How long do pads last?

Hello all.

I'm new to this forum and new to the whole detailing world. I've been reading up about how to use the PC 7424 and which products to use. There are a lot of helpful information that I find here. I do have question though.

Given that they are washed and properly maintained, How long do they generally last for? Do they last fairly long or do you have to keep buying them every so often?

depending on type of machine you are using, in this case PC 7424 I'd say orange pad should last you at least 10+ vehicles, where white, would last at least 30 vehicles...
Again, measuing on average size vehicles, not trucks or Rv's...
