Getting all the swirls out.

I have a quick question. I am going to do a detail on my moms car for her and try to remove some nasty swirls in her Infiniti G35. I did a test area last night and found that Poorboys SSR2.5 w/ a 4 inch LC CCS orange pad got almost all the swirls out, but not every single one. I follow this up with SSR1, Black Holes glaze and EX-P. It all looks great except these little tiny swirls. My question is, am I going to mess up the paint if I try to work out the rest of these little swirls? How much pressure can I use on the PC to work this area and how long can I work the same area for? Normal people wouldn't even notice these swirls, but they are bugging the crap out of me. Instead of using excess pressure, I would probably just step up to a yellow pad, which should take care of the issue. The odds of you harming the paint are still very slim.

I found that even with the orange pad and SSR2.5 I had to go over it again with the SSR1 and a white pad to get a haze free finish. Will I need to do another step if using the yellow pad? Like Yellow SSR2.5, Orange SSR2.5 then White SSR1? I'm sure this is a totally noob question but I just want to make sure!

No, you can go straight from yellow/SSR2.5 to white/SSR1.

I would add if you see significant micromarring (very small scratches) after using the yellow pad, then go back to orange with same polish before skipping a pad and moving to lighter polish.
