Two quick PC questions

I am about to get my PC that I ordered from Autogeek, but I have 2 quick questions. I keep hearing about priming the pad the first time. Can I do this with and QD or do I really need to buy that pad rejuvenator? Also if I prime them with QD do I need to put more product than usual on the first time to keep it from drying out, or can I just put a small amount on like normal. Thanks in advance!

PS I just want to add what a joy it is to deal with Autogeek for all of my supplies. This is the 4th order I have placed in about a month and I always get great service!! Thanks for all the hard work Autogeek staff!!!

Re: Two quick PC questions

Priming depends on the polish that you are using. With Menzerna I have found a spray of 50/50 water and alcohol to work best, with PB SSRs I only apply more product than usual (no water, no QD), XMT and other polishes you can use a QD or the pad conditioner. I wouldn't say that the pad conditioner is mandatory but one benefit to it is that it has a very fine mist which is excellent for prepping pads.
