Question Hello all! PC Cleaning and Maintanence?

Hey everyone. Ive been detailing at this pace probably for 4 years, which paid my way through college for 3 years, and have learnt alot through the years. I recently found this site, and after dropping about 300+$ on new stuff (pads, abbrasives, etc) I realized im leavign something out. I have a PC that is probably...well..4 years old , and I have NEVER done anybit of maitanence on the machine? After its years of loyal service..I feel pretty bad.

What kind of maintanence should i be doing to the Machine itself? Still works great...just curious

Thanks

Heres a few pics of my daily and summer truck to tickle the fancies

five years on my PC ... and no tuneup here either. Gotta admit it sets the bar for durability. My Flex ate the backing plate in less than 10 uses.

alothough PC is very durable (I have PC and UDM), I still like FLex better...makes your work so much easier, and you are less tired then with PC.

Maintenance and Storage:
The owner's manual recommends that you have your PC inspected and serviced (if needed) after about 100 hours of usage by an authorized service centre. Contact the factory service centre 1-888-848-5174 for the nearest service distributor, their website www.porter-cable.comPorter-Cable 7336 partsorthe factory (731)668-8600.

Regular maintenance-you should clean the brushes, blowing out the vent holes every couple days. Once in a while remove the brushes and inspect for wear, replace if necessary. Other than keeping the machine clean and dust -free when it not in use very little maintenance is required
