Re: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

With a gray pad on a slow speed I wouldn't be worried about it.

Re: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

Its o.k., it streaks alot and does not last very long at all. Bodyshops use it when the car is completed so the customer sees a nice shiney car when picked up.

^^^yep, streaks, and I found it difficult to remove. Only used it once so it might have been me or the finish of the paint.

Re: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

Its not you it just streaks, my buddy has a custom paint shop and he doesn't even use it. We stopped using that stuff over 20 years ago, they way final polishes finish down now there really isn't a need for a glaze.

Re: 3m Imperial Hand Glaze

I've found it is a bit finicky to work with; less product helps prevent the smearing.

Doesn't last long; great for garage queens if you want to add wetness and fill minor swirls.

With modern polishes it doesn't have much of a place any more except for filling in between polishing sessions.
