FWIW I've used the Pinnacle polish with a Porter Cable on our old 1940 Buick with ~30 year old single stage BLACK paint, with fantastic results.

cool guys. that helps a lot. i think i am going to get the PC 7424 & pad kit. was the Yellow Edge just the pad you used? by hand? and what is SIP?
