Need help getting PC setup.

Alright guys and gals,
I've got my 2002 Firehawk. Have a lot of swirls from the PO...I will post up some pictures later, but I am hoping to take care of them with a mild PC treatment.

So here's what I am planning on purchasing:

XMT PC 7424 Intermediate Swirl Remover Kit
XMT Pad Care
Pinnacle Supplies (Souveran, wash, claybar)
Microfibers
Autogeek bag

What extra pads would ya'll recommend? I know the kit comes with orange, white and gray (I think)...I am planning on doing two or three cars initially with this setup. I don't plan on using anything more abrasive than the Orange pad with the Intermediate Swirl Remover (#3).

Anything else ya'll think I might need or could benefit from??

-Matt

Re: Need help getting PC setup.

Orange and white pads are an excellent start IMO. I'd wait before ordering others.
In the future you'll want to consider products for wheels/tires and interior cleaning/protection.

I've got a lot of Pinnacle packages for interior and wheels/tires.

Thanks for the advice...

Re: Need help getting PC setup.

Would I need anymore polishes or anything than is in the Menzerna Maximum Shine kit?

BTW, how do you pronounce Menzerna?

Pronounce it? Menz, as in "Men's Room"

Thanks....you're really close to me, BTW. I am in Charleston. Good to see someone else from the Lowcountry on here.

Thanks again...if you see a red Firehawk rolling around, that's me.

Re: Need help getting PC setup.

oo ya and a good word of advice that i found out the hard way.only work the polish in for about 1.5-3 minutes tops.if u go longer like i did the polish could dry up create new swirls.

Cool I'll keep a look out, it should be easy to spot. If you see a white mustang with white rims and Fl plates thats me.
