Rotary Backing plate for 6.5" Pads

Hi, recommended LC backing plates are 4.75" while Meg's is 5", are there any difference at all or it's too close a call so whichever one should be good. This will be used with Menzerna 106FF with green pad to remove cobwebs and medium to light swirls on dark color coats (black and british racing green). I might or might not follow with gray or blue pad for finishing. Thanks!

5" will be fine. That's what I was using up until recently when I switched to Edge. You'll have plenty of "buffer" around the backing plate with a 5" BP/6.5" pad.

I have both. Both work well.
